  How to Play blackjack

Blackjack can be enjoyed as a game with between 1 and 8 ordinary card decks. Cards ranked from 2 through 10 are scored based on to the face value they have. Every face card carries 10 points.

Aces are however scored as semi-wild and may be 1 or 11 points. The biggest hand in blackjack is the Ace and a 10-point card which is known as a blackjack. A blackjack winner pays 3:2. If a dealer and player both have a blackjack; then the bet becomes a push. Apart from a blackjack, a hand winner pays more money. The player wins if a hand features higher points than the dealer, even if not over 21.

Therefore, a hand of 21 points is the highest and is the reason why it is referred to as 21. If the player or dealer goes more than 21, it will be called a bust or break and for a busted hand, it automatically loses. If both the dealer and player bust; then the player loses, wherein the advantage of the house lies.

If the dealer and player tie, the bet becomes a push. Playing a customized blackjack game is a special feature which tells a player when to make a mistake in using a basic strategy.

Choosing from different numbers of decks and rule variations means a round of blackjack will start with every player putting a bet inside the logo or circle directly in front of them. Then the dealer gives all the players 2 cards, including themselves.

Player cards are always dealt face up while a dealer card is also dealt the same way. So it becomes the up card while the other one goes face down and becomes the hole card. If the dealer has a 10 or Ace as an up card, he may have a blackjack, whereby all the player's hands stand to lose except the ones with another blackjack.

In the United States, the dealer checks for a blackjack if any is possible, and collects all the losing bet at once if s/he has a blackjack. If the dealer has one Ace as the up card, s/he allows the players to make an insurance using their hands against a blackjack.

The insured bet in blackjack is the type that pays 2:1 if a dealer has a blackjack. If the dealer holds an Ace which shows a player is having a blackjack, the dealer will have to ask "even money?" This is because if a player holds a blackjack, the total result of the blackjack and insurance bets will become even money wins.
