Mambo Stud poker is a brand new poker variant. Yet no world class Mambo Stud expert is there, players only try to convert their skills and abilities from other games to it.

The game is basically played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards by a maximum of 11 players competing for a winning stud poker hand. Mambo Stud poker is a split game, where there is the opportunity for a player to compete for a high, low or a high/low hand with which the pot can be scooped.

After the dealing of all the cards, players unfolding their hands will reveal their three cards along with a single community card from their hand in the middle of the gambling table.

Any combination of 3 out of 4 cards is allowed to be used by the players for the formation of low or high hands. Players have unconditional chances to compete for a high hand, and if no single pair is there with a player, the high end would be won by the highest card. But, there must be three cards with a player with six or lower ranking to compete for a lower end. This refers to as requiring a 6-qualifier for a lower end.

There prevail three rounds of betting, and an ante is required to be posted by every player. A facing down and another facing up card is dealt to every player on the initial round. The betting is forced to be started by the player exposing the lowest ranked poker card. Then, every player can call, fold, or raise on the turn. Another face down card is dealt to all players after the completion of that betting round.

Now, the player exposing highest ranked poker card has to act initially, he/she might be checking or betting his/her hand. Like any other poker variant, player acting subsequently might also be checking or betting. Players might be folding, calling or raising after making a bet. After the completion of second round of betting, a facing up community card is turned up by the dealer at the center of the gambling table.

Now, the act is initially performed by the player having a poker hand of highest ranking either for checking or betting as per his/her wish. After the response given by the final player to act, there prevails the completion of third and final round of betting.

Then there becomes the showdown for the determination of winner, or winners of the gambling pot. Poker hands constituting three poker cards are formed by all remaining players with the use of any combination of their 3 personal cards and the community card for the formation of a high, low, or both poker hands.
